Allison assists landowners in securing just compensation when their property is taken. She is involved in all stages of litigation and enjoys working closely with landowners to understand the unique qualities of their land.
While attending law school, Allison lived across the street from Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL. This experience helped her shape a personal understanding of living adjacent to a popular local amenity. While great for the town, it imposes burdens on those in its vicinity, such as litter, trespassing, noise, and light pollution. She learned that two things can be true at once: loving the amenity for what it is, and still not wanting it right on top of your home.
This experience shapes Allison's advocacy for her clients, giving her a practical understanding of the balance between public benefit and private burden, and strengthening her commitment to securing fair outcomes for landowners.
